Event Recap: Scholars Reception

Congratulations to our 2022 scholarship winners!

The Ohio State Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland honored our 2022 scholarship winners with a Scholars Reception on June 8, 2022 at Windows on the River. 

We are proud that these new Buckeyes now represent some of the best and brightest students in Northeast Ohio at The Ohio State University: Reese B. (Beaumont), Alyssa B. (Westlake), Aiden B. (University), Ishwarya I. (Solon), Renee Levasseur (Strongsville), Isabelle L. (Solon), Milan O. (Bay Village), Emily S. (Brecksville-Broadview Heights), Peyton W. (Orange), and Christopher W. (Solon).

Scott Gale, Class of 1990 and Chief Deputy Clerk at Akron Municipal Count, provided the keynote address. Gale was awarded the Ralph Davenport Mershon Award in 20212 for exceptional leadership and service to The Ohio State University. Several of our recent scholarship recipients shared updates about their college careers. We concluded the evening with a singing of “Carmen, Ohio.”
