Who We Are

We are the Ohio State Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland. Our goals are to further the university’s interest in Greater Cleveland and to build and renew friendships among Ohio State alumni and friends in the area.

Outside of Greater Columbus, more alumni and students live here than anywhere else in the world. Thus, the Ohio State Alumni Club of Greater Cleveland serves as an important bridge between Cleveland and the university.

What We Do

Greater Cleveland Alumni Club dues help support activities and efforts that keep members in touch with the past, present, and future of Ohio State.

Student outreach efforts help high school students develop an interest in Ohio State by providing information and answering questions about the university.

Scholarship activities recognize Greater Cleveland’s best and brightest students. We award outstanding students with locally funded Ohio State scholarships at the annual Scholars Reception.

Awards are presented annually to local alumni for outstanding service to the community and to the university. And, since 1951, outstanding players and student athletes from this area have been recognized at our annual Football Appreciation Banquet.

Cooperation with the Ohio State Regional Office and with OSU’s Cuyahoga County Extension Service helps us continue Greater Cleveland’s close relationship with the university.
