Volunteer at Santa’s Hideaway Hollow

June 29 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Bring your friends and family (children ages 16 and older) for an incredible experience and the chance to connect with fellow Buckeyes. We will be helping with upkeep of Santa’s Hideaway Hollow, a special place for terminally ill children and their families to go for a day of play. The venue has reindeer, llamas, a train, helicopter pad, firetrucks, police cars, gas station, baker, ice cream shop, handicap-accessible putt putt, teddy bear toy house, post office and more. All the mail to Santa in Geauga County comes here and volunteers answer more than 700 letters each year.

There will be no families visiting on the day we’re there. We will help Santa with painting, weeding, cutting down trees and more to maintain these 90+ acres of magic. Wear old clothing, throw your toolbox into the trunk and bring any portable landscaping equipment you have. After volunteering in the morning, we’ll enjoy lunch and hopefully a visit from Santa. As a bonus, every volunteer will receive a Buckeye volunteer t-shirt.
